Timesheets

Grad Students

Graduate Assistants – Research (GSGAR), Hourly Graduate Assistants - Teaching (GSGATH) and Hourly Graduate Student Invigilators (GSIVIG) deliver work on an hourly basis which requires the Graduate Student to submit a timesheet for all hours worked.

To ensure the student is paid in a timely manner, timesheets must be submitted on a semi-monthly basis. The  identifies the timesheet cut-off dates for each semi-monthly pay. Graduate Students should familiarize themselves with these timelines to ensure there are no disruptions to pay.

Grad Assistant - Research appointments are paid out of project funds and therefore the student will need to enter the appropriate funding source for all hours worked. Before entering time it is important that the Graduate Student confirm with their manager or the project owner about the appropriate Fund, Department, Project and Activity to which time worked should be coded.

Please see the attached reference guide for more information on how to use timesheets.
